The easiest way to play music in our house:
- On your phone: Open the Apple Music app
- Choose music: Search or browse for what you want
- Select speaker: Tap the AirPlay icon and choose a room
- Already on: iPhone, iPad, Apple TV
- Family Plan: Everyone has full access
- Voice Control: "Hey Siri, play..."
- Access: Through Infuse app on Apple TV
- Content: Our personal music collection
- Where: Any TV with Apple TV or Roku
- Device: Sonos soundbar with TV
- Control: TV remote or phone
- Best for: Background music, parties
- Device: HomePod mini
- Control: Voice or phone
- Say: "Hey Siri, play jazz in the kitchen"
- Device: Echo Dot (Alexa)
- Control: Voice or Alexa app
- Say: "Alexa, play relaxing music"
- How: Use AirPlay to select multiple rooms
- Volume: Adjust each room separately

With Siri (Apple devices):
- "Play my favorites playlist"
- "Play some country music"
- "Skip this song"
- "Turn it up/down"
- "What's playing?"
With Alexa (Echo devices):
- "Alexa, play music"
- "Alexa, play [artist name]"
- "Alexa, volume 5"
- "Alexa, stop"

In Apple Music, go to Library → Playlists

Tap "+" to create new playlist

Name your playlist

Add songs:
- Search and tap "+"
- Or press and hold any song → "Add to Playlist"
- Make sure WiFi is on
- Check if speaker is powered on
- Restart the Music app
- Try Settings → AirPlay & Handoff
- Check WiFi connection
- Make sure phone isn't in Low Power Mode
- Keep Music app open in background
- Check both phone volume AND speaker volume
- Some speakers have physical volume buttons
- Check if "Volume Limit" is on in Settings
- Save battery: Download playlists for offline listening
- Quick access: Add Music to Control Center
- Shared playlists: Create family playlists everyone can add to
- Sleep timer: Ask Siri to "Stop playing in 30 minutes"
